Adaptador USB - Serial
Cable de consola CISCO
Comenzamos por conectar el adaptador usb a serial en una computadora personal que cuente con HyperTerminal ó una aplicación similar. Una vez conectado y configurado el adaptador, debemos de observar en que puerto COM esta trabajando.
En Windows XP HyperTerminal se encuentra en la siguiente ruta:
Inicio -> Todos los programas -> Accesorios -> Comunicaciones -> HyperTerminal
Conectamos el cable de consola a el adaptador y desupés el mismo a el equipo. abrimos la aplicación y escribimos un nombre para nuestra conexión y elegimos un icono y presionamos Aceptar.
En la siguiente ventana en la opción Conectar usando, elegimos el puerto COM en donde se encuentra conectado el adaptador USB - Serial y continuamos.
En la siguiente ventana elegimos Restaurar los valores predeterminados y damos click en Aceptar.
En la página en blanco aparecere un prompt preguntandonos el password de administrador del equipo. Una vez ingresado correctamente el password, aparecerá la pantalla de bienvenida de la consola de administración del equipo.

FragmentFree switching mode reduces bridge delay by making the
forwarding decision after 64 bytes have been received.
In contrast, Store-and-Forward switching mode
waits until the entire frame has been received before the forwarding
decision is made. This command sets the switching mode.
